When purchasing a larger lot/group of postcards, each postcard which you are bidding on is shown in the photos so you can zoom in and take a close look at each and every postcard. As I offer mainly postcards which are 75-100+ years old, it is reasonable to expect that most postcards of that age and era will not be in mint condition. Bidding / Watching: I encourage bidders to review my listings for a 7-10 day period at a time. I allow my buyers 10 days in which to make payment and, in view of the USPS continually increasing the cost of shipping, buyers would realize greater savings by taking advantage of the Combined Shipping Discount. Combined Shipping Discount: I do offer the combined shipping discount on multiple purchases. Up to 10 postcards can be mailed together for a cost of $2.60 to the buyer — 11 to 17 postcards can be mailed together for $3.50 — 18 to 41 postcards can be mailed for $3.95. I allow my buyers up to 10 days to make payment which allows the buyers more time to group together their purchases and save more money through the combined shipping discount. Your purchases should be paid for on the 10th day following your initial purchase in the group – or – when the total postcards purchased reaches 40. Each invoice on multiple purchases will reflect the combined shipping discount. In order to receive the combined shipping discount all purchases must be paid for on the same date so they can be shipped in the same mailer. Shipping (U.S. only): Please look at my «Seller’s Other Items» to determine if there are additional listings you would like to bid on in order to take full advantage of the combined shipped discount. Effective 5/17/2024, the shipping cost for 1-3 postcards is as follows: 1 postcard per mailing — shipping cost is $1.70. 2 postcards per mailing — shipping cost is $1.50. 3 postcards per mailing — shipping cost is $1.30. 4 to 10 postcards have a shipping cost of $2.60 – 11 to 17 postcards have a shipping cost to the buyer of $3.50 – 18 to 41 postcards have a shipping cost of $3.95. Your postcards will be mailed in a safe manner. Postcards will be in protective sleeves and inserted in a plastic rigid top loader and enclosed either in a cardboard mailer or poly bag. If you want tracking on your package of 1-3 postcards, you should opt for the $2.60 shipping cost as the eBay Standard Envelope has little to no tracking. If you would like to opt out of the eBay Standard Envelope, please let me know and I will send you a revised invoice. The invoice for 1 to 3 postcards will state $1.30 shipping cost until the 4th postcard is purchased. Payment should not be made for purchases until I have sent the invoice for the total number of postcards purchased. When purchasing up to 3 postcards in order to receive the $1.30 shipping fee, ALL POSTCARDS (1, 2 or 3) MUST (!!) BE paid for in ONE SINGLE PAYMENT. International Shipping: (Effective 1/31/2024) – The shipping cost outside the U.S. is as follows: 1-3 postcards – shipping cost $3.00. When purchasing more than 3 postcards at a time, 4+ postcards have a shipping cost of $0.40 (40 cents) «each» over and above the initial $3.00 charge for the first three postcards. For example, when purchasing 12 postcards at the same time, the shipping cost would be $3.00 for the initial 3 postcards plus $3.60 (for the additional 9 postcards) for a TOTAL shipping cost on 12 cards of $6.60. Having the highest rating as a seller, I am held to a higher standard. One of eBay’s requirements for sellers of this higher rating is that we cannot «hold» postcards. Once I receive notification of your payment I MUST mail your postcards in the next mail pick-up. eBay’s Estimated Delivery Date: eBay gives buyers an estimated delivery date for receipt of their items. In some cases the date given is not sufficient taking into consideration the USPS is continually opening new regional centers, weather issues, etc. If you have not received your item within several days after eBay’s estimated delivery date, please let me know. At that time I will ask you if you prefer to wait a little longer for delivery of your package or, if you want a full refund at that time.
