The 1939-40 New York World’s Fair Photos on CD #4 The 1939-1940 New York World’s Fair has been said to have been the best fair ever. A wonderland of pavilions was constructed on a former dump in Flushing Meadows, showing unbridled optimism for the future. This auction is for a CD of photos from the 1939 season of the Fair. The original photos have been professionally scanned and have been digitally corrected, with dust and scratches removed. There are 50 photos in this collection.
